Weight Loss Naturopath Melbourne

Naturopathic Support for Sustainable Weight Loss in Melbourne

Struggling with weight that won’t shift no matter what you try? You’re not alone. For many women, weight gain isn’t about willpower — it’s about what’s happening underneath the surface.

Hormones, stress, gut health, sleep, and blood sugar all play a powerful role in how your body holds onto or releases weight.

“I had always struggled with my weight, nothing felt sustainable and I always seemed to end up right where I started, that was until I saw Caitlin. We uncovered exactly what was going on in my body and I’m pleased to say I am now in a really healthy place both mentally and physically”

What if weight loss didn't consume your thoughts, what if your food choices weren't a constant battle and what if you felt comfortable in your skin?

At Caitlin Britten Naturopathy, we take a root-cause approach to weight loss, supporting your body to rebalance naturally rather than relying on restrictive diets or quick fixes. Through personalised testing, nutrition, and lifestyle strategies, we help uncover what’s driving your weight changes — and gently guide your body back into balance.

Mission and Vision

Our vision is to create a space where you feel confident in your body and connected to your health journey. Together, we’ll co-create a personalised plan that supports balance, resilience, and long-term vitality — a plan rooted in sustainable habits, practical strategies, and evidence-based guidance, not quick fixes.

Our Approach

We take a holistic, client-centred approach that sees you as a whole person — not just a list of symptoms. Your journey is unique, and so is your care. Through thorough consultations, functional testing (where appropriate), and a deep understanding of your story, we uncover the root causes of imbalance.

Blood test review

If you have been told your blood tests are fine but you still feel like something’s off than it may be time to dig a little deeper.

We offer pathology reviews to ensure that your not just surviving and your ranges are optimal.

To rule out any compounding factors we will analyse thyroid and hormone results, nutrient deficencies, blood glucose levels, liver functioning and immune functioning in the body.

What To Expect From Your Appointment

Your first consultation is all about understanding you — your symptoms, lifestyle, and health goals — so we can create a personalised plan that works for you and your overall wellbeing.

  • Comprehensive health review: We’ll go over your medical history, current symptoms, diet, lifestyle, stress levels, sleep, and medications or supplements.

  • Investigations: I may recommend blood tests, stool testing or extra hormone testing to pinpoint root causes. Tests are at the discretion of the client and will only be recommended in certain clinical presentations.

  • Personalised recommendations: These could include dietary adjustments, targeted supplements, lifestyle strategies, or herbal medicine to support your body and menstrual cycle.

  • Follow-up plan: We’ll set realistic goals, track progress and adjust your plan as needed to ensure sustainable results. It’s normal to experience small changes quickly, however, it can take up to 3 months to feel completely back to normal.

What To Expect From Your Appointment

Your first consultation is all about understanding you — your symptoms, lifestyle, and health goals — so we can create a personalised plan that works for your gut and overall wellbeing.

It’s normal to experience small changes quickly, however, it can take up to 3 months to change the pattern of your cycles and create new hormone habits.

In order to get the most accurate data around your hormones it is recommended that you perform any hormone blood tests on day 3 of your cycle (day 3 of your bleed). This way we can easily track fluctuations and have a baseline of where they should be sitting.
