Who We Help
Gut Health, IBS and Bloating
I help women who are tired of planning their lives around their gut.
Maybe you’re constantly bloated after eating, dealing with IBS, constipation or diarrhoea, struggling with reflux or abdominal pain, or never quite know how your gut is going to behave. You may have started cutting out more and more foods, keeping a list of “safe” foods on your phone, or avoiding meals and social situations because you’re worried about what might happen afterwards.
You might also notice that your digestive symptoms change around your period, or that feeling overly full, gassy or uncomfortable has simply become something you’ve learnt to put up with.
These symptoms are common, but that doesn’t mean you have to accept them as your normal.
If you’re looking for a gut health naturopath in Melbourne, I offer personalised support for women experiencing digestive concerns, with in-person consultations available in Maidstone and across Melbourne through telehealth.
“I was diagnosed with IBS and told there was no treatment, I had restricted just about every food group but was still in constant pain. I did a microbiome map, put in the work and I can now confidently say I have no digestive symptoms”
Are You Struggling With...
- Constant bloating or feeling overly full after eating?
- IBS symptoms, abdominal discomfort or unpredictable bowel movements
- Constipation, diarrhoea, gas or reflux that keeps coming back?
- Food sensitivities or intolerances that make eating feel complicated
- Digestive symptoms that seem to get worse around your period?
If you’re constantly managing your food around your symptoms, you don’t have to keep guessing what is causing them.
The list of trigger foods on your phone is not a solution
Bloating, irregular bowel movements, gas, reflux or digestive discomfort can affect everything — from energy to mood to skin.
Whether you’re dealing with ongoing bloating, constipation, IBS or general digestive discomfort, the goal is to understand what may be contributing to your symptoms rather than simply avoiding more and more foods.
Your gut isn’t just about digestion. It’s closely linked to your brain, hormones, immune system, and energy levels, which is why gut issues can leave you feeling tired, moody, foggy and affect your skin. The way your gut feels really does affect how you feel overall — and you don’t have to just live with it.
Your gut health can also play an important role in how you feel throughout your menstrual cycle and may influence areas such as energy, cravings and weight management. If these are concerns for you too, you can explore our hormonal health and sustainable weight management support.
How Naturopathy Can Heal Your Gut Naturally
Throughout our consult I will ask targeted questions to understand the root cause of your symptoms so we can sustainably overcome your digestive issues.
Together we will look at:
Nutrition and Lifestyle
We’ll look at your diet, eating patterns, lifestyle, stress and other factors that may be influencing your digestive health, with practical changes tailored to you.
Herbs and Supplements
Where appropriate, personalised herbs and supplements may be recommended to support digestion and overall gut health.
Functional Testing
Where clinically appropriate, functional testing can provide further insight into what may be contributing to your digestive symptoms and help guide your individualised plan.
Mission and Vision
Our vision is to create a space where you feel confident in your body and connected to your health journey. Together, we’ll co-create a personalised plan that supports balance, resilience, and long-term vitality — a plan rooted in sustainable habits, practical strategies, and evidence-based guidance, not quick fixes.
Our Approach
We take a holistic, client-centred approach that sees you as a whole person — not just a list of symptoms. Your journey is unique, and so is your care. Through thorough consultations, functional testing (where appropriate), and a deep understanding of your story, we uncover the root causes of imbalance.
Blood test review
If you have been told your blood tests are fine but you still like something’s off than it may be time to dig a little deeper.
We offer pathology reviews to ensure that you’re not just surviving and your ranges are optimal.
To investigate potential contributing factors to your digestive issues, we may analyse thyroid and hormone results, nutrient deficiencies, blood glucose levels, liver function and immune markers where clinically appropriate.
Functional testing
Functional gut testing can give us a deeper look at what’s happening in your digestive system — beyond what you can see from symptoms alone. These tests help identify imbalances in gut bacteria, inflammation, digestion, and absorption, so we can create a plan that targets the root cause of your discomfort.
This is for the people that have tried everything and just want the most direct approach to healing.
What To Expect From Your Appointment
Your first consultation is all about understanding you — your symptoms, lifestyle, and health goals — so we can create a personalised plan that works for your gut and overall wellbeing.
-
Comprehensive health review: We’ll go over your medical history, current symptoms, diet, lifestyle, stress levels, sleep, and medications or supplements.
-
Investigations: I may recommend blood tests, stool testing or extra hormone testing to pinpoint root causes. Tests are at the discretion of the client and will only be recommended in certain clinical presentations.
-
Personalised recommendations: These could include dietary adjustments, targeted supplements, lifestyle strategies, or herbal medicine to support your body and menstrual cycle.
-
Follow-up plan: We’ll set realistic goals, track progress and adjust your plan as needed to ensure sustainable results. It’s normal to experience small changes quickly, however, it can take up to 3 months to completely heal your gut and rewire your digestive patterns.
